This workshops is ideal for those interested in yoga but not sure where to start. It's designed for the absolute beginner or for those who have tried one or 2 classes but felt left behind. We will learn a few of the common yoga postures, how to breathe in yoga, how to use props, how to practice sequences with breath and we'll finish with a relaxation lying on the floor. This is fun, relaxed and friendly. You can ask me questions, stay for tea, bring a friend and an open mind! Absolutely no experience required. Come as you are.
We have everything you need unless you want to bring your own mat,. Wear your comfy clothes, we'll be practicing in bare feet. Open to all ages over 16 and all bodies. Please register in advance.
This is a 2.5 hour workshop where you will be guided through introductory postures, sequences and simple breathing techniques to help you begin a safe and informed yoga practice.
This is only $30 (option to pay $75 and get workshop + 1 month unlimited classes at Just Yoga)
Just Yoga is situated in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Parking is available free for this workshop at the back of the studio. Ask for directions. We are a community based, friendly studio and this workshop regularly fills up. Have any questions? Contact us.
