Yoga - all levels
This class is a movement based class. We will sit, stand, move, shake, lie down. We hold shapes, we flow. If you are interested in building strength and supporting your body through healthy functional movement come and try a class. If you are starting out in yoga then try a beginners class first.
A passive, introspective and breath orientated practice. The body is supported on bolsters and blankets and still for longer periods of time than in an active class.
The purpose of this type of practice is to shift the nervous system out of ‘fight or flight’ into a deeply felt relaxation response. I also like to include some somatic movement sequences as a way to release holding patterns before we come to rest.
